Hovering Across Canada

The Hovering Across Canada Foundation (a registered non-profit organziation) are perparing to make history in 2011 by being the first to fly a light weight hovercraft 11,000 km from Victoria, BC to St. John's, NFLD.

Spanning 5 times zones & covering the vast geography that is Canada, "Hovering Across Canada" will be a true once in a lifetime adventure. In addition to incredible scenary the Team is looking forward to experiencing first hand diverse wildlife; caribou, moose, mountain goats/rams, grizzly bears, cougars, killer whales & bigger blue whales. But there will be a lot of challanges, physical, technical & emotional that the Team will be forced to meet & beat if they are to be successful in their quest.

Also along for the ride will be a film crew who will be shooting episodes for a very unique & exciting adventure reality show (national & international).

This historic adventure is also being done in support of the fight against Prostate Cancer, the number one cancer threat to men. All proceeds from this event will be going to the education, research & treatment of Prostate Cancer.
